The Best Choice for Your Next Meeting or Convention
FiveSix Productions has logged many hours, and exponentially more footsteps in a vast swath of convention and meeting halls. We pride ourselves on knowing the ins and outs of all those coffee-chugging, break-out session loving, swag-grabbing conventions and conferences. Whether we're posted up on a Spider Pod with a wicked smooth servo lens in the back of a break-out room like a majestic Blue-Throated Macaw, or silently capturing all the inspiring and exciting moments of a general session/show floor like an adorable and elusive Fennec Fox, we set out to make all of our clients dreams come true. And, we don't stop at breath-taking cinematography, we have audio skills that would make Beethoven tap his foot, producers who would make Mel Brooks stand and applaud, editors who construct stories that make Seven King look like a two-bit hack. We do session records, man on the street, green screens, white screens, no screens, and yes, so, so much more. Yes, from Long Beach, California, all the way out to fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, if you have a convention video that needs to be done right, you just pick up that phone and call FiveSix Productions, the best and let us take it from there.
BoardRoom Interview - Mickey Munoz Part 1
This was a great interview for us.
Mickey Munoz is a Legend and we were fortunate to interview him for our film. Munoz, a historical figure in the surfing world, has been featured in many popular surfing documentaries such as the 2004 film Riding Giants. He currently resides in Capistrano Beach, California and designs boards for Surftech, a manufacturer of epoxy boards.

The View is Unbelievable
Have you recently been wanting to explore the Grand Canyon, and many other national parks in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah, but you think, "Dang, that drive from Vegas is wicked far!"? Well, have we got a deal for you! FiveSix Productions recently teamed up with a great client based in Boulder City, and made them a fancy video celebrating their 90th anniversary! (You would never guess they're 90 year old just by looking at them.) Papillon, the world's largest aerial sightseeing company is turning 90 years old, and we got to interview some of the passionate and dedicated team members who make the company so popular and successful. From the state of the art terminal, to the control tower, and even inside the airplanes the tarmac, our cameras caught all the action as it was happening. We weren't able to catch a flight with them like I hoped, but once we catch a break from this non-stop Las Vegas video production world of ours, you better believe I'm going to find my way to the bottom of the Grand Canyon for sure!
Filming the Future of Solar Energy
Renewable energy is no longer some crazy, hippie-concocted, science fiction, nonsense. No, no, it's real; and here in the desert southwest, we're all about it. From the mighty Hoover Dam, to the sprawling wind-farms in Southern California, and the hi-tech solar plants scattered throughout the Mojave, Great Basin, and Sonoran deserts- it's all the rage. Don't get me wrong, there's something special about looming Nuclear-cooling towers, and those gorgeous, billowing black clouds from "clean" coal, but all natural is just a bit more comfortable. We had the great privilege of working with the brainiacs over at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and their solar department; those smarties are hard at work making solar more productive financially, less destructive environmentally, and totally, totally popular amongst the "in crowd". Despite scorching summer heat coupled with the lovely Monsoon-season humidity, our Las Vegas video production team got the shots we needed to make a really terrific piece of cinematic magic.
FiveSix Productions: Jib Connoisseurs
Every classy person knows that you don't shake a martini, you stir it, a top hat, monocle, and cane are fashionable for any occasion, and San Diego is the epicenter for all things truly classy.
Well, we here at FiveSix Productions strive for classiness, and consider ourselves connoisseurs of a great many things such as leather bound books, the Nebraskan Countryside, and beautiful jib shots. We have our own jib, two, in fact, but when we want the best of the best, we look no further than our friends over at Jib Tek. With their bountiful experience, we know that we will be able to deliver just what the client wants. We recently got to collaborate with our counterparts on a recent shoot for the NBA Summer League, and, as expected, everything looked phenomenal. If you find yourself in need of, oh, let's say a fully modified and rigged-out Hummer H1 for your awesome desert shoot, hit up the folks at Jib Tek, and for all your other Las Vegas video production needs, you know right where to look... FiveSix Productions, if you didn't actually know- call us.
FiveSix Productions Dishes the Rock
So, there's this association, an association of warriors, of giants, of men who can nearly fly... It's where hard men go to do hard things: ball out. The National Basketball Association is here in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada for their annual NBA Summer League; a time of year when all the youngsters, fresh out of college, Europe, or a less than Lebron-esque rookie year get together for a little b-ball. We here at FiveSix Productions would love to take in some of the games, but instead, we decided it would be way more fun to work! So, we met half-way and created some cinematic magic for the NBA!
Now, while we pride ourselves on our rim-rocking, three-point draining, alley-ooping abilities, apparently my junior varsity coach did not see it that way; luckily though, we have a camera, and we have some lights, and we kind of know how to use them. We teamed up with some of our favorite clients and some of our favorite Las Vegas freelancers, and made some television with some of basketball's current and former legends. Jason Kidd, Jerry West, the Cubes (Mark Cuban), and more were eager to share their collective knowledge over two days at the Mandarin Oriental and Wynn Las Vegas. I can go on and on about all that they talked about, but you'll just need to tune in to your favorite NBA media sources for all the goods. I will however leave you with a couple photos to hold you over.
Next time you're in town, and are in need of the best Las Vegas video production company, even if Mark Cuban can't make it, give us a ring, and we'll knock it out of the park! (Wait, that's not right....) We'll put it through the uprights! (Wait... forget it.)
