When you're competing with the bright Vegas sun, you make sure to bring enough light to match. Luckily, this overcast day was great for our podcast setup, as it softened the light coming in and with the help of a couple of Aputure 600 x pro's we were able to balance exposure.

Playing with color and mood for this podcast. Always fun when you've got a great crew and @aputure.lighting to play with.

Let the location tell the story

Sometimes, it`s best to keep things simple. Having a beautiful location takes the edge off the setup. All we needed here was a little diffusion and some return / light shaping to make this interview stand out.

Had fun setting up this poor man`s process in a Las Vegas parking garage.

These setups are always an fun and exciting way to stretch the creativity. We chose to push the @aputure.lighting through the front windows with the lightdomes, while sneaking an infinibar in through the sunroof to give our subjects some fill.

What are some of your favorite ways to light interior car scenes?

Focus.

Turning the dial for that precise moment, that perfect frameset. Creative imagery begins with sharp focus on the details that matter.

Beat the heat! Go poolside and soak up the sun!

On this shoot, we had to get as low as possible to the water, which meant getting creative with our equipment. With @thedanadolly and a sandbag, we were able to capture the perfect shot from a unique perspective. When it`s a scorching 110 degrees outside, it`s tempting to take a refreshing dip in the pool, but when you`re up against the clock, you`ve got to make do with what you`ve got and stay focused on getting the job done. The heat may be sweltering, but the end result is well worth it!

Another great on-location corporate shoot in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas!

One of the biggest challenges we faced was making sure to bring enough light to contend with the intense desert sun shining brightly in the background. To combat this, we set up a 3-camera arrangement, each equipped with a 3-teleprompter setup to ensure our talent was comfortable and confident in their delivery. It was a complex setup, but the end result was well worth the extra effort.
