The Vegas Golden Knights: Our New BFF!

I think we can all agree, our favorite aspect of the film "Slap Shot" is the Hanson Brothers (caution: some strong language).

Those three provide limitless laughter and entertainment as they decimated their opponents in ruthless fashion. Hockey is a fantastic sport! It's full of speed, danger, excitement, and occasional fisticuffs. The best part: Las Vegas now has their very own, shiny, fresh-out-of-the-box NHL team! The Vegas Golden Knights.

Recently, FiveSix Productions got to create a super-dope video chronicling the genesis of the team's name and logo. Now, if you're curious, the answer is yes, it was the video that was supposed to play during the name-announcement ceremony at T-Mobile Arena. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a technical glitch with the ceremony, and the A/V guys over there, couldn't get it on screen. We're not sure if it was just chop-full of too much awesome for their equipment to handle, or maybe they had a little Smeagol turned Gollum moment and wanted to keep Precious all for themselves. Either way, we were proud to be a part of the beginning of Las Vegas' first professional team: the Vegas Golden Knights, and you can check out the video we made here on their official website.

Oh, and, if you're curious about the "Golden" instead of "Silver" since Nevada is the "Silver State", it's because Nevada produces more gold than any other state in our beautiful Union (looking at you California).

FiveSix Productions Walks the Magenta Carpet

Over the past week, FiveSix has sent crews to the T-Mobile Arena, and around the Vegas Strip for all the festivities surrounding the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. From rehearsals by the likes of Fifth Harmony and DNCE, to international television channels covering the show, to the red (well, magenta) carpet and beyond, FiveSix shot like we were playing "Duck Hunt" on the original Nintendo. We had the pleasure of fully immersing ourselves in the show from start to finish, and really felt like we got to experience the enormity of such a show. We always appreciate our clients that come to town and allow us be a part of such fun events and festivities, and we always try to deliver on our promise of quality and dependability. If you're in need of Las Vegas video production services, give us a shout, and we'll be happy to try and give you more than you thought possible.

Side note: we are definitely, not the type of people who put the gun up to the screen for accuracy... unless there's a chance we'll lose. If you'd like to play (not on company time!) go here: http://www.duck-hunt.org/

FiveSix Rocks with Legends

Over the past weekend, FiveSix Productions had the opportunity to rock out with some true legends. Slash returned to Guns n' Roses, along with a few other past and current members to rock out and celebrate the opening of the brand new T-Mobile Arena, here in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. We were welcomed to the jungle where we manned our trusty Canon C300, durable Sound Devices 633 audio mixer, and favorite Schoeps microphone with wind muff, and helped capture interviews of all the eager fans before and after the show. Don't cry, because despite the occasional "November" style rain, we had patience and got some great footage. Mr. Brownstone and the Rocket Queen had us knockin' on Heaven's door, and when it opened up, we found our way to Paradise City where the grass was truly green, and all the girls were pretty. After we took in a bit of the show, we got back on the nightrain, and got to work talking to all the satisfied fans about the ruckus event. Just before the sun rose, we were on our way home where we could get some rest and let our ears stop ringing. If you find yourself needing the services of the best video production company in Las Vegas, let me tell you, sweet child o' mine, we've got you covered. Keep rockin' friends.
